ANNOUNCING LAST CHANCE TO GET YOUR PHOTOS IN FOR THE CONTEST AND PHOTOS OF YOUR DOG(S) AND THE FACILITIES YOU VISIT
(See your 4/26/20 email for full letter and information)
- PHOTO CONTEST - submit your photos up until MAY 8th: The announcement is on our group’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/
KYWAGS/ There is also an announcement on our Member’s Only section of our website. It is there where you can find the rules, the link to the form to submit with each photo, and the link to the photo release form you will need if there are people in the photo other than you or your family. There will be 3 categories: photos taken with a cell phone, photos taken with a point and shoot camera and photos taken with a DSLR camera. The first-place winner from each category will be given a $25 Amazon Gift Card.
- FACILITY VIDEO: Karen Kirby has made a request for all WAGS Ambassador pets. She plans to make a video to be sent to ALL the facilities we visit. She would like your WAGS pet to be seated or laying on or next to a piece of poster board (purchased from the Dollar Tree, Meijer, Kroger) or take wrapping paper that doesn’t have anything on it and write your pet’s name and where they visit like what she did with Lizzy in the attached photo. The photo is best in landscape format.
- SUMMER READING PROGRAM VIDEO: Tami Harbolt for photos of dogs reading, or with glasses pretending to read, or with a book. She would like to use those photos for a video that she will make for the various summer reading programs to remind kids to read and tell them how much WAGS misses reading with them. These photos can be entered in the photo contest or sent to me separately to email@example.com.
It can be fun on the days when not much else is going on that you take a bit of time to take some cute photos of your pets. Or look through the photos you have and find one(s) you REALLY like and submit them. In these uncertain times, I would love nothing more than to flood our Facebook Group page and website with incredible photos of our pets. It would fill the air with a bit of whimsy we definitely could use at this time….SO, COME ON…. Send in those photos!!!!
Stay safe, stay healthy.
