Hello fellow Waggers,
We are now one year out from the beginning of the COVID lockdowns. We sure have weathered a lot during this past year. I’m so proud of our membership and its leadership for managing to keep us engaged during this difficult time. We are now moving forward and looking to slowly opening as we watch for the benchmarks in the Jefferson County positivity rate to go below 5%.
We have several things planned moving forward. The first 101 class for 2021 is scheduled for March 24th by Zoom at 6pm. We have 13 people signed up for the class. By the time you read this newsletter you should have received your study guide email. For those still interested in attending the class you have until March 14th to sign up for the class. If you are interested, please contact Martha Raymer at email@example.com.
Secondly, we are aiming to hold the first Express Renewal Lights (ERL) for 2021 tentatively for the end of June. All Teams with expiration dates in 2020 and 2021 have received an email from the Evaluator Committee.
The committee is asking that everyone respond to the email by March 19 to let us know if you want to renew by participating in the Express Renewal Light (ERL) this year. It is important that we have responses so we can schedule the proper number of days for ERL based upon the number of teams participating.
If you have not received an email or have questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Finally, we are looking to begin the meetups in the park gradually, checking the weather each week as we also watch that the Jefferson County positivity rate is no longer in the Critical Red Zone for COVID. Watch for postings on the Members only section of Face Book.
